Cleaning Instructions
Sterilizing the menstrual disc on the first and last day of each menstrual cycle is sufficient.

Boil the disc for 2–5 minutes using a saucepan, microwave, electric kettle, or steam sterilizer.

When using the included microwave sterilizing cup, fill it with enough water to completely submerge the disc and remove the lid before microwaving.

During your menstrual cycle, simply wash the disc with mild soap and water after emptying.

When emptying the disc while away from home, you may wipe it with a wet tissue or rinse it with clean water, dry it, and reinsert it.

Always wash your hands thoroughly before inserting or removing the menstrual disc.

Additional Information
Some users may experience auto-dumping.

This may occur if the disc is smaller than the space surrounding the cervix. During activities that increase abdominal pressure, such as coughing, sneezing, or straining, the rim of the disc may shift slightly, allowing some menstrual fluid to empty from the disc.

Because the size of the vaginal fornix cannot be accurately measured at home, the only way to determine the best fit is by trying the disc yourself.
